Jason Beachcroft, Australian Geographic Adventurer of the Year 2014

A well deserved accolade. Carolyn got to catch up with Jason as he paddled north past Durras earlier this year. Here he is heading off early for another day of paddling after a shower, meal and a sleep out our house.

Amazing waterspout, glad we weren't on the water that day.

Here is some footage showing a waterspout that formed in the middle of Batemans Bay in 2012. Very dramatic. On our ocean half day tour we paddle past the spot where it hit land and you can see the damage to the trees.
