A major bushfire came close to South Durras earlier this year. A southerly wind arrived on the afternoon of Thursday December the 5th that halted the advance of the flames as they were approaching from the north west. We are fortunate to have not had the fire enter our village. We are open for business and still running kayak tours, kayak rentals and SUP rentals as usual. We look forward to seeing you soon!
